When individual recruitment fits
Recruitment suits a company building its own team and integrating a specialist into its processes. Describe the role beyond the immediate project as well as current duties.
Agree who interviews, who makes the decision and what the essential criteria are. Combine technical and commercial requirements before searching so that new conditions do not emerge at the final stage.
- A continuing need for a specific role.
- Your own supervision and task management.
- Capacity to interview and induct the employee.
When a project team fits
Consider a project team for a defined work package, a temporary increase in site capacity or several connected trades. Clarify the mix of installers, senior specialists and coordination.
Define the work boundaries and communication process. Who assigns tasks, approves hours, reports schedule changes and agrees additional people? These answers determine whether the proposal fits your site.
- A defined project stage and scope.
- Several trades working together.
- A team composition that may change with the project.
Compare scope before price
A recruitment fee and a crew’s hourly rate describe different services. Check what is included: coordination, travel, accommodation, workwear and tools. Identify the tasks that remain with your company.
Make a list of each cost, the responsible party and whether it is included. Employment arrangements and allocation of responsibilities must be clarified for the particular project.
Questions before agreement
- Who employs the people and who supervises daily work?
- How are the crew, schedule and scope changes agreed?
- Which costs are included and which are separate?
- How are completed work or hours recorded?
- How are quality concerns and team changes discussed?
- What must the client arrange before the start?
Terms such as outsourcing, project teams and personnel leasing may be used differently. Assess the content of the proposal and contract rather than relying on its label.
Start with your project
Tell Workteil about the tasks, duration, roles and available management resources. A key individual hire and a complete crew need different discussions.
Agree selection criteria and a contact person before searching. You do not need every answer in advance, but make clear which arrangements are confirmed and which need discussion.
