About the role
The Site Supervisor oversees and coordinates all on-site electrical works so that installation is completed safely, on schedule, within budget and in line with project specifications, industry standards and regulations.
What you will do
- Supervise day-to-day electrical installation on site; run daily briefings and allocate tasks.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers and other trades; monitor subcontractors, electricians and technicians.
- Ensure installations comply with approved drawings and standards (IEC, DIN, VDE or project-specific codes); inspect, test and close out defects.
- Enforce health and safety: toolbox talks, PPE, hazard identification, support for HSE audits.
- Track daily progress against the schedule and production plan; report delays and risks, and lead recovery plans.
- Provide technical guidance: cable routing, switchgear, panels and distribution boards, lighting, earthing and bonding, control and instrumentation.
- Manage materials and keep daily reports, inspection records, test results and as-built documentation; support handover and commissioning.
- Liaise with clients, consultants and inspectors on site.
What you bring
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in electrical installation works.
- Proven experience on construction or infrastructure projects (commercial, industrial, infrastructure or MEP).
- Previous supervisory experience is essential.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems; ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with local and international electrical standards; LV/MV experience is an advantage.
- Leadership, clear communication, attention to detail and a safety-first mindset.
Working conditions
- Primarily site-based in a construction environment.
- May require extended hours to meet project deadlines.
- Requires physical presence, mobility and site inspections.
Preferred certifications
- Electrical certification (licensed electrician or equivalent).
- Health & Safety certification (e.g. NEBOSH, OSHA).
- First Aid training.
