About the role
We are looking for a specialist for projects assembling and connecting production lines at automotive plants. Working conditions and pay are discussed individually.
What you will do
- Mechanical assembly of production lines from drawings, diagrams and instructions.
- Installation and assembly of KUKA industrial robots and robotic modules.
- Installation of conveyors, frames, guarding, grippers, manipulators and other process equipment.
- Positioning, levelling and adjustment of equipment.
- Connection of mechanical and pneumatic components; routing of pneumatic lines.
- Checking assembly, fastenings and alignment; taking part in commissioning with electricians and automation engineers.
- Diagnosing and fixing mechanical faults; following site safety rules.
What you bring
- Experience in mechanical assembly, installation or maintenance of industrial equipment.
- Ability to read assembly drawings, installation diagrams, specifications and technical instructions.
- Understanding of mechanical assemblies and how production equipment works.
- Confident use of hand, power and measuring tools; precise positioning and adjustment.
- Knowledge of fasteners and threaded connections; basic understanding of pneumatics.
- Accuracy, responsibility and teamwork in an installation crew.
- Readiness to work on production sites and, when needed, to travel and work shifts.
An advantage
- Experience in the automotive industry or in assembling production lines.
- Experience with KUKA, ABB, FANUC or Yaskawa robots, conveyor systems, robot cells and guarding.
- Torque tools, laser level, calliper, micrometer.
- Basic electrical knowledge; permits for work at height, lifting or loading equipment.
- English or German sufficient to understand technical documentation.
